#when I was watching this scene for the first time #all I thought was that Matt’s face looked really different #and after I’ve seen it giffed in every single way possible I finally figured it out #this was probably the first time you ever saw Eleven truly broken #and not broken and expressing it in rage like in Flesh and Stone #but truly broken #the way he looks up at Amy in the first gif and smiles in the second #just #I know half of my followers don’t even ship it #but you have to admit that right there is a face full of love and compassion and sadness all at the same time #because he knows he’s going to die for good this time #and not just that but he’ll be gone forever with no one to remember #and he’s doing it all for Amelia Jessica Pond #the Girl Who Waited for him #if that’s not love then I really don’t know what love is
